One day one fish again…

Another one day one fish trip...

Nice spot with superb conditions. But where have all the fish gone?

This has got to be one of the worst outings of the season, one which I’d rather forget. Despite the marvellous conditions (no cold front, etc.), the fish weren’t biting for some bizarre reason.

It wasn't much of a fish at all...

The afternoon’s fishing was equally as bad. If it was not for the small chub caught from a small stream, I would have came back empty. What I’ve notice was the unusually low water level, both in the river and the small stream. It must have been about 2’ under what’s normally considered normal.

See you next time...

With the close season just around the corner, I can’t wait to get back to fishing the still water canals. I hope the fish would start stocking up for the spawning season ahead.
