The 'blank' buster

Is this the 'blank' buster?

It’s been a while since I landed a decent size fish. The past few weeks have been difficult. The weather’s been fluctuating and so was the fishing. The trend was to continue on one of my most recent trips. I was scheduled to fish with Nottingham angler Sharky at the Grantham Canal. The day started out cold which later tuned sunny before it got windy. It was truly a mixed bag. As for the fishing, it was a slow day. I’ve had just less than a handful of bites on the 3” inch YoMama craw and failed to convert most of them into fish except for one, a juvenile pike. Well, at least we didn’t go home with a blank score. Better luck next time.

Nice water but where's the fish?

Can't see any fish?

Thanks for reading, as always.
